Seismic synchronicity

I was playing SimCity, and my city began shaking. Just as I was thinking, "I don't remember there being earthquakes in SimCity," I realized that people behind me were yelling, "Earthquake!" and were taking cover. I was experiencing simultaneous earthquakes -- one in my game, and one for real.

(This does not help discredit the existential questions I harbor regarding whether or not we are all part of someone else's SimCity game.)
